No massage or bodywork experience necessary In this class techniques to work with spinal curvatures and scoliosis are presented and practiced. Participants also learn to evaluate and address inefficient postural habits. Post techniques focus on assessing and releasing areas of tension in the spine and ribs. A simple and natural means of working with neuromuscular tension patterns that is gentle, effective and transformative is employed. By using comfortable positioning and movement, we access the innate, self-corrective reflexes, achieving pain relief and structural balance.
Introductory Level One Biodynamic Craniosacral Foundation TrainingJuly 20-22 Practical, perceptual and theoretical introduction to the biodynamic model of craniosacral therapy. Class explores the embryological foundations of Health a nd introduces participants to the direct perception of the presence of Primary Respiration and the ‘breath of life’ in the therapeutic process. Class can be taken singly or as part of 2-year foundation training. |
